Power Pumping – Legendairy Milk South Africa
  • Power Pumping

Power Pumping is intended to mimic cluster feeding in which baby has phases of short frequent feeds at the breast only interrupted by brief pauses. This has a positive effect on milk production and prevents prolactin levels (major milk-making hormone) from falling back to its basis level. ⁣Check the power pumping chart above for more details.

For many women, a noticeable increase in the amount of milk can be seen within 3 days. Other women may need up to 14 days to achieve the maximum effect of power pumping.
